Some journeys begin with a destination. Ours began with a coincidence that took us halfway around the world. "A meeting written in the stars."
Claudio and Georgie grew up in the same city, neighborhood, and social circles, yet never met. It took two careers at sea and thousands of miles from home to bring them together.
They met aboard a cruise ship, where both were working as crew members, fell in love, married, and spent their honeymoon at sea. They later returned to the ships together for a few more years, and their shared life became a shared professional journey, shaped by travel, hospitality, cruise operations, logistics, and client service.
Through extensive travel on land and at sea, they explored destinations across continents and gained firsthand insight into the cultures, landscapes, and experiences that make each journey memorable.
Long before Wishlist Getaways had a name, its foundation was already taking shape. Two paths. One standard of excellence.
Georgie holds two bachelor's degrees and a master's degree - in physical therapy, kinesiology, and global logistics and transportation - and her background in cruise recruitment, leadership, and sales taught her to focus on the person behind every itinerary. She listens carefully, anticipates needs, and follows through on promises.
Claudio studied accounting, statistics, and hospitality management, and his experience in cruise sales and operations gave him a natural eye for the details that make complex travel work: timing, connections, logistics, value, and coordination.
Together, they balance human understanding with operational expertise. One sees the traveler behind the booking; the other sees how every detail must come together to create a seamless experience.
Their knowledge was built through years of professional responsibility - including working as Future Cruise Consultants and Specialists on several cruise lines - demanding service environments, complex bookings, and firsthand travel throughout the world, aboard ships and on land.
The world was their classroom.
Life aboard a cruise ship introduced Claudio and Georgie to people and cultures from around the world. On some ships, the crew alone came from more than 80 or 90 different nationalities, and the friendships they formed across those cultures deepened their perspective on travel and on the world's destinations. Their professional experience and personal travels taught them that understanding a place means more than knowing its landmarks.It means recognizing local customs, choosing meaningful experiences, understanding timing, avoiding common mistakes, and knowing when the most memorable moments are the ones no itinerary can predict.
Together, they have traveled to 110 countries, more than 570 cities, and all seven continents, on more than 1,000 cruises as crew and as guests.That experience matters not simply because of where they have been, but because of the judgment and perspective they gained along the way. They understand what inspires travel, what preparation makes it enjoyable, and how to plan a destination for someone else - not just visit it themselves.

Over the years - in travel and hospitality since 2009 - Claudio and Georgie have handled more than 10,000 bookings between them, including ocean and river cruises, private tours, group travel, multigenerational holidays, destination weddings, and corporate travel. They have coordinated multi-country itineraries, private transfers, special celebrations, hotels, restaurants, local experiences, and the many details that connect one part of a journey to the next.Every traveler has a different reason for going: adventure, family, celebration, or a long-awaited dream trip.

From their home base in West Palm Beach, Florida, Claudio and Georgie created Wishlist Getaways to make professional travel planning personal again. The agency serves clients throughout Palm Beach County, across Florida, and nationwide, arranging cruises, private tours, group travel, hotels and resorts, flights, and pre- and post-cruise stays.Their goal is simple: understand the traveler, design the experience around them, and coordinate every detail with care.
